While the original studio recording is bombastic, with notes of T. Rex or fellow Aussie rocker Tame Impala, the acoustic version is a chiming, classic folk song. \u201cI really love when songs have two versions,\u201c Anderson says. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anderson plays his <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/imp.i114863.net\/5bj019\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Martin 000-28M Eric Clapton Limited Edition<\/a><\/strong>, tuned down a whole step with a capo on the fourth fret. Like many singer-songwriters, he does this not only to match his vocal range but to get away from the usual sounds of open position. \u201cPutting a capo on gives you a whole new realm to work with,\u201c he says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1290\" height=\"726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JFi-DJ7Z_kA?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The fully electric, studio version of \u201cMorning Light\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Following through on his love of multiple song versions, Anderson will release an <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/create.ffm.to\/mlacoustic\" target=\"_blank\">official acoustic version of \u201cMorning Light\u201c<\/a><\/strong> on Friday, June 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Want to start writing your own songs?
